Our Mission

It is a fact: the United States has more people incarcerated than any modern nation on Earth, and the state of Texas tops the list. With over 130 prison units housing more than 122,000 offenders - and 177 county jails with over 1,000,000 arrests per year - people are lost and forgotten by the "freeworld" within the criminal justice system. Our mission is to

* Exalt Christ - making Him central to our lives
* Equip Saints - Teaching them to believe and obey God
* Encourage Inmates and Families - To help them through this challenge

In other words: We Make Disciples Who Make Disciples
This is our mission. These are our people.

About Us

About Us

Former TDCJ Prison Chaplain Jack McCarty has been a believer in Christ since March 19, 1970, and has served in various Christian ministries since December 17, 1972.

With a heart for people - including those declared to be irredeemable by society - Jack seeks to minister the Word of God to people made by God, so the children of God may become disciples of God - who make more disciples of God.

With a strong focus on disciple making, Jack now uses the radio and Internet to minister to those throughout TDCJ, the U.S., and the world, and to encourage both inmates and those who love and care for them.

Statement of faith

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the complete deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to ‘the right hand of God the Father,’ and in His bodily return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe all Scripture is God-breathed, inerrant, and is authoritative for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life eternal.

We believe in the spiritual unity of the Church, which is the body of Christ, composed of all who are regenerated through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
